Ryan’s “Clearing Monday Night” Forecast

Much drier today than we’ve seen recently and we’re evening getting some sky clearing this evening, but I expect to see more clouds move in tomorrow. We’ll still get plenty of sun tomorrow, but I don’t expect to get much higher temperatures than the upper 80s due to cloud cover and showers. This rain event won’t be anything like last week’s and is nothing more than a return to our usual South Mississippi weather pattern. That being said, we know that even an afternoon t-storm can generate some severe weather, but at this time our “threat level” is still below marginal. After Tuesdays showers we dry out considerably from Wednesday through Friday, with partly cloudy skies and temperatures approaching 90 along the water front. That changes once we enter the weekend as Saturday through Monday look to be a bit wetter. A new area of interest did pop up in the Atlantic tropics today, and has a 50% chance of tropical formation in the next few days. We’ll monitor it’s development over the next week and update as needed.
