Pine Hills Nursey holds Toddler Tuesdays
Toddlers enjoyed the fresh air, interacted with animals, and got in touch with their green thumb at Pine Hills Nursery’s Toddler Tuesday event.
The first Tuesday of each month, kids enjoy the outdoors while also learning something educational.
This month is Native American Heritage Month and special guest Rolling Thunder stopped by to teach Native American traditions in a fun, casual, and interactive way.
The kids were able to learn about the culture and learn traditional songs while playing Native American instruments.
Rolling Thunder is a local Live Oak Choctaw Indian from Vancleave. Pine Hills Nursery Manager Rachel Bond said, “We have opened up our space to create a safe, fun, educational space for families, and children to come out and enjoy themselves while they are learning and getting fresh air.”
Along with Toddler Tuesday, Pine Hills Nursery provides workshops, classes, scheduled activities, and private parties.
