Mississippi voters who cast provisional ballot face Tuesday deadline

If you cast a provisional ballot in Mississippi during this week’s election, there’s an important deadline you need to know about.

Voters who were removed from the voter rolls or didn’t have an accepted photo ID when they voted must show a valid ID at their local circuit clerk’s office by Tuesday for their ballot to be counted.

The nonpartisan group Vote Riders is offering free assistance, including help obtaining identification and transportation.
