Monday Night Forecast
The threat of severe weather heads our way for Tuesday. An area of low pressure will move to the north and bring a cold front with it. This will bring in heavy rainfall, dangerous lightning and strong winds in the excess of 60 miles per hour. Expect rainfall throughout the day on Tuesday with things picking up in the afternoon as the cold front moves through. The system should pass through shortly after midnight and we will clear out after that for Christmas Eve. Rain totals will be anywhere from 1 to 2 inches with the heaviest rain in the afternoon and evening. Christmas Eve we will stay cool and windy with winds from the west gusting around 20 mph. Temperatures will only be in the upper 50s and even cooler on Christmas but the sun will return.
