Grant Me Hope: Aayalliah hopes to be adopted

Every Monday on WXXV we feature a child from Mississippi hoping to get adopted. Today you will meet 13-year-old Aayalliah. She has been waiting a year-and-a-half for a family to love her.

“Hi My name is Aayalliah, I’m in the 8th grade, I am 13 years old, I’m beautiful, I’m smart, I love dogs, other animals.  What I like to do for fun is I like to ride my bike, I like to play with my dogs, I like to color, to dance.  My favorite subject is Math, Reading, and Science.   If I could learn to do anything it would be to be a veterinarian and learn more about other dogs and animals.

Adoption means to me you can have a home to stay in for good, clothes on your back, food on your table, a roof over your head, and animals.  Like they take you places, they don’t take things from you.

In a family I would like joy, peace, we have freedom.  People forgive you and you forgive them.  You don’t have to be weary about nothing.  You don’t have to be scared.  You don’t have to worry about nobody breaking in to the house.  I would want a family to respect me for my faith.

I can help them cook, I can sweep their floor, mop, keep the couches clean, my room, if they have other kids I can help them.

I don’t like being in custody in foster care.  Going here, there I would love to be in a stable home.  I’m so hopeful that I would be adopted soon.”

Next Monday at this time we will feature another child from Mississippi hoping to find a new home.
