Boys and Girls Club East Biloxi Unit hosts Christmas dinner

The Second Liners Biloxi Mardi Gras Club served and sponsored the Boys and Girls Club East Biloxi Unit Christmas dinner.

Dozens of pizzas and juice were served to about 50 children. Each child received a personalized Christmas gift, wrapped with a bow.

The Second Liners host a Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner each year for the children in Biloxi, 15 years and running. Second Liners Mardi Gras Club Representative Harriet Mitchell said, “It’s just a good feeling. You just want to do nothing but smile and knowing that the kids will get something. Some of the kids, you don’t know what they’re going to get. So, at least they do have a gift, something under the tree. It just makes us all feel good to be able to do this and know that the kids are excited and happy about it.”

About 12 Second Liner members came to support and make the event possible.
