Biloxi Fire House Number 2 hosts annual Fish Fry Fundraiser

On Howard Ave, Biloxi Fire House Number 2 hosted their annual Fish Fry Fundraiser.

Just in time for lunch, fresh fish and shrimp spaghetti plates were sold from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Plates were sold for $10.  Dine-in or carry-out options were available.

Last year, the fundraiser was canceled due to COVID-19.

Biloxi Fire Department uses the fundraiser as a way to build community relationships. The money raised goes to fund the Biloxi Fire Museum. Biloxi Fire Chief Joe Boney said, “The purpose of today’s fish fry is to raise money for the museum. With the pandemic we have not been able to have fundraisers in the last year, year and a half, so it’s very important that we try to do this and we’re asking the community to come out and support us in this effort.”
