10/01 Ryan’s “Spooky” Tuesday Forecast
It may be October now, but the only thing spooky about today’s weather is the heat! The high climbed to 95 degrees today, and will linger there for the rest of the week. Thankfully the humidity is still low so those heat indices didn’t get too out of control today, but did rise above 100 degrees.
I expect the humidity will rise over the middle of the week as return flow sets up ahead of Friday afternoon’s front.
This front won’t have much fan-fare associated with it, so don’t expect rain or a significant increase in cloud cover. It will bring cooler weather, dropping highs into the upper 80s over the weekend. We’ll see the chance of a few showers increase on Sunday as the second of two fronts moves in, but it only rises to around 30%. The airmass behind this second front will be considerably cooler and drier, bringing highs into the low 80s while nights fall into the 60s!
