12/18 – Payton’s Tuesday Afternoon Forecast

It’s shaping up to be a very nice December day. High will climb into the mid 60s with upper level clouds moving in. By tonight more low level clouds will fill in, which will keep temperatures from falling too much tonight. The low is around 50 degrees. Rain and clouds are expected for your Wednesday with the best chance during the afternoon and overnight hours. The strongest thunderstorms are expected to stay over the Gulf of Mexico. We’ll have a little bit of break before more showers move through on Thursday as the system exits the area. Friday will finally bring a drying and some sunshine. It’s also the first day of Winter and it will feel like it with highs in the mid 50s. Saturday will be dry and cool with sunshine. The same is expected on Sunday. By Monday, Christmas Eve it appears we could have a few showers with highs in the 60s.
