7/30 – Payton’s Monday Afternoon Forecast
The dry spell we saw last week will come to an end. With multiple upper level disturbances, and a weak cold front moving into the area by Tuesday and Wednesday, rain chances will go up into midweek. Today will bring typical summertime showers and thunderstorms as we get daytime heating, but on Tuesday and Wednesday expect cloudy conditions with numerous showers and a few thunderstorms. By Thursday and going into the weekend rain chances will start to go down gradually, but we’re still expecting scattered showers and thunderstorms for the weekend. The good news is the high temperatures will be running in the mid 80s with clouds and rain in the area.
TROPICS: No tropical development is expected over the next five days.
