1/28 – Payton’s Sunday Night Forecast

The low pressure system that moved through the northern Gulf of Mexico this weekend continues to move off to the east taking all the showers with it. There are still clouds over the area, but this will slowly clear out as we go into tomorrow morning. There is the potential for patchy fog across the area because of the the moisture from this weekend. For tomorrow late morning into the afternoon skies will be mostly sunny, and temperatures around normal in the lower 60s. The sunny conditions will last a few days until clouds move back in on Thursday along with rain chances. The next cold front could impact the area sometime Friday morning, although the air associated with this front will not be extremely cold. Going into the weekend rain chances will be slight, but look to increase into Sunday.
