9/12 – Payton’s Tuesday Afternoon Forecast

As IRMA continues its track to the NW…now moving through N’tern Alabama as a low pressure system, the lovely conditions will continue here in South Mississippi.

A DRIER north/NW wind will affect the area with drier conditions although the moisture field will be just to our north around Hattiesburg. Breezy conditions will tapper-off this evening with normal…more of the typical late Summer pattern will return through the rest of the workweek…into the weekend. The remnants of Irma will move off to the NE as an area of low-pressure Wednesday night, this will bring elevating rain potential Friday into the weekend.
