06/30 Ryan’s “Dangerously Hot” Tuesday Morning Forecast

We've been flirting with dangerously hot weather for a while now, but today will get there ahead of some cooling a few afternoon showers.

It has been quite hot for some time now, but now things will get dangerously hot later this afternoon! Heat Advisories have already been issued, and we’re very close to seeing Heat Warnings as well as the heat index will max out between 105° and 110° today. Pay extra attention to heat safety today, especially if you have to spend any amount of time outside due to these dangerously hot conditions. The UV Index is also at extreme levels today, meaning burns could set in in as little as 10 minutes if not properly protected. Please take steps to remain hydrated today, and avoid direct sun exposure while outside as much as possible. Conditions will cool slightly in the days ahead, but will linger near Heat Advisory territory all week long.
