01/20 Ryan’s “Still Frosty” Tuesday Morning Forecast

Still frosty out there to start of the day, but it's the last of the week as things start to warm noticeably for the rest of the week.

There were still some frosty areas out there this morning despite a slight warm-up, but don’t expect to see any more such mornings for the rest of the week. This morning’s low fell down to just above freezing, with a few inland areas dropping as low as the upper 20s. That was still an increase of 2-7° across South MS, with a similar increase expected later today as we climb into the upper 50s under partly cloudy skies. Clouds will remain thin at first, but by the afternoon they’ll begin to thicken noticeably was we head through the night. That’ll lead to mostly cloudy skies and a much warmer low near 41 for Wednesday morning. Rain moves in by the afternoon, but will remain sporadic as we steadily warm and remain cloudy for the rest of the week ahead.
