11/14 – Jeff’s “Rain & Increasing Wind” Tuesday Afternoon Forecast

Rain will develop and move back into place by the evening with the possibility for steady rainfall at times tonight. Coverage will peak at around 70-80% with the bulk of heavy rain and all thunderstorm activity staying south of our area.

Any activity will become very isolated by tomorrow as the area of low pressure moves eastward through the Gulf of Mexico. Elevated winds will stick around tonight into tomorrow. On the water, a Gale Warning is in effect until Wednesday at 12 Noon.

Due to easterly winds piling water along the shoreline, a Coastal Flood Warning is in effect for Hancock and Harrison County until 6 AM Thursday. A Coastal Flood Advisory is in effect for Jackson County. Skies remain gloomy for the most part until a cold front moves through the area into this weekend. It will help provide for clearer skies and a brief cool-down.
