10/27 – Jeff’s “Dense Fog Advisory” Friday Night Forecast
A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect until 9 AM due to the potential for patches of dense fog to set up in the area. Expect fog to dissipate quickly with sunlight tomorrow morning. Lots of sunshine is expected this weekend with only a few afternoon clouds on Saturday and Sunday. Rain chances will remain slim to none until the new week.
Sunday and Monday will also bring the potential for fog to start the day. The beginning of next week will bring big changes to the area. A cold front will make its way into South Mississippi during the day Monday. Skies will turn partly cloudy and there will only be a 20% or so chance of rainfall.
The big cool-down arrives Monday night and the colder airmass will settle in by mid-week. Tuesday will be much cooler overall with cloud cover remaining in place, and a 20% chance of rain cannot be ruled out. Much sunnier conditions arrive by Wednesday and persist through the end of the week. Much colder temperatures make their way to the Coast and patchy frost cannot be ruled out Wednesday or Thursday mornings.
