9/27 – Jeff Vorick’s “Stray Passing Showers” Wednesday Evening Forecast

Cloud cover will gradually make a return through this evening. A 20% chance of passing showers will be in play up until a few hours or so after sunset. Skies will gradually clear overnight and it will again be mild out the door. For mariners, a Small Craft Advisory will go into effect at 9 PM and carry through 4 PM tomorrow.

Thursday will feature a mix of clouds and sunshine and about a 20% chance of a shower. The best coverage of showers and thunderstorms will be offshore. Very gradual changes will take place as a front is slowly clearing the area.

More sunshine will be around for Friday and by this weekend; a milder airmass will take shape. High pressure will begin dominating the region well into next week. Cooler mornings and warm-to-hot afternoons with very little in the way of rain chances will be around for the extended.
