8/31 – Jeff Vorick’s “Changing Weather Pattern” Thursday Evening Forecast

It will be warm this evening with humidity gradually on the upswing. Cloud cover will increase overnight but most of us will still find mild temperatures. Rain chances of around 20% will be in play overnight particularly towards daybreak.

Friday brings a 60% chance of showers and thunderstorms. The first wave of rain chances would be in the morning hours until about midday. Then, thunderstorms will fire up in the afternoon. For the next few days, the beachfront would be more favored for early rounds of activity then rain chances are more likely inland for the afternoons.

Saturday brings 70% chances of rain with the same general pattern, just more widespread coverage. The system responsible for bringing us the unsettled pattern will gradually begin to pull away from our area. Sunday still brings scattered thunderstorm chances.
