7/25 – The Chief’s “Less Humid Pattern” Tuesday Morning Forecast
Another day of manageable heat and more in the way of sunshine is in store for the southern six counties. Currently a cold front is to the south of our area over the Gulf of Mexico with high pressure to the north.
We should be fairly dry over the next couple of days with an isolated shower possible, however it is not likely. Temperatures will be just above seasonal average today thru Friday. The dew-points will continue to be a bit lower, so the feels like temperatures should remain pretty nice for this time of year.
As we progress towards Thursday, we start to return to our normal summertime pattern with a slim chance for a shower or thunderstorm possible in the afternoon and evening hours.
Saturday thru Monday rain chances become slightly more elevated due to a few weaknesses in the overall pattern in the region. In the afternoon hours the sea-breeze could ignite a few showers and thunderstorms. Temperatures for the weekend will be in the low 90s with more normal triple digit heat indices.
