7/18 – Jeff Vorick’s “Heat Advisory” Tuesday Evening Forecast
A Heat Advisory remains in effect until 7 PM. Heat indices of over 100 degrees will be around into portions of this evening. Skies will clear out overnight but it will remain warm with upper-70s out the door tomorrow morning. Much of the same conditions will continue for the middle portion of the week.
Strong high pressure will remain in place for the workweek. It will slowly shift to its east, and to the east of our area. Dominant southerly flow will be in place and humidity will increase. A Heat Advisory will be in effect from Noon until 7 PM tomorrow. There will be passing clouds from time to time but no rain is expected.
There will be a change in the pattern by the end of the week. The storm track will gradually sag southward by this weekend. Rain chances and a less hot pattern will return.
