9/28 – Rob’s “Friday Eve” Forecast

It’s a fairly simple forecast for the 1st weekend of “Crusin The Coast”…

Today will continue to bring HOT conditions with a weak cold front moving through the area this evening. Minimal activity will be associated with the boundary if anything at all. A second front will move into the area and then east by Saturday morning. This will bring a reinforcing shot of DRIER air to the region. A weak trough of low-pressure will move west across the GOM Sunday into Monday…this will bring rain potential to the region into early next week.

Models suggest some kind of tropical development through the weekend into next week of the W’tern Caribbean…we will continue to focus our attention on this area…
