9/22 – Rob’s “Beginning of Autumn” Forecast
As me make the official transition at 10:21 a.m., increasingly HUMID conditions will continue. High-pressure extends from the Carolinas to eastern Texas, with a developing cold front along the Pacific NW. Heading into the 1st weekend of Autumn, high-pressure will move east allowing for moisture flow to increase…destabilizing the atmosphere. Coupled with daytime heating, rain potential will increase for afternoon showers/t-storms Sat/Sun. The cold front from the NW will begin to go stationary as it approaches the Gulf coast early next week…increasing rain potential even more.
