9/12 – Rob’s Gloomy Monday Forecast

A cold front approached the area Saturday afternoon and is now stationary just to the N/NE of the southern 6. Under mostly cloudy skies, this boundary will be a focal point for activity through Tuesday evening before the system washes out. Showers and t-storms will be slow and erratic in movement and could provide for FLASH FLOODING in low-lying areas today. The activity will begin to wain Tuesday afternoon with drier conditions on-tap for mid-week. Another boundary will begin moving into the SE later this week elevating rain potential heading into the weekend.
