9/8 – Jeff’s “Sunny & Less Humid” Weekend Forecast

Clouds will clear out overnight and a milder airmass behind a cold front will slowly work in. Temperatures will be quite pleasant out the door to begin your weekend. Many spots will see temperatures in the 60s!

Much less in the way of humidity will be around for Saturday through Monday. Lots of sunshine will be around with only a few passing clouds. Temperatures in the 90s will NOT have a heat index associated with them.

Humidity gradually returns towards the middle of next week. The next weather maker will come from a frontal system that will be in our region during the middle of next week. Hurricane Lee continues to move west-northwestward with the National Hurricane Center indicating a turn to the north by Wednesday. It poses no threat to South Mississippi.
