9/8 – Jeff’s “Cool Front Moving Through” Friday Evening Forecast
A cold front is gradually working through our area. Unrelated to it, a complex of thunderstorms that made its way into areas to our west is providing for cloud cover. No rain chances are expected but clouds will clear out overnight.
The weekend will be quite mild. Temperatures in the morning will be pleasant with upper-60s to low-70s across South Mississippi and much less humidity. Saturday and Sunday will feature lots of sunshine and slightly above-normal afternoon temperatures. However, there will not be much of a heat index factor if any at all.
Humidity gradually returns late Sunday through the early portions of the week. Another frontal system will be poised to move into our area around mid-week. Rain chances will return by then.
