9/24 – Rob Knight’s “Partial Clearing” Afternoon Forecast

Winds and rain will begin to become lesser of a problem for the area as the remnants of Beta move NE. This will help to slowly lower tide levels around the area by this afternoon. Tides will remain higher than normal but should not be much of an issue by Friday through the weekend. Another surge of moisture will move into the area over the weekend but this time it will be ahead of the first of two cold fronts. The first of these looks to move through Monday night into Tuesday morning and a stronger reinforcing cold front Wed night or Thursday of next week.

After the second frontal passage, overnight lows will drop into the mid 50s as daytime highs will climb into the low 70s.
