A clear start to the day has changed as clouds have moved in from the west and SW…along with isolated showers/t-storms.

A daily threat of scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms will persist through the weekend as a rather stagnant weather pattern prevails through next week. The forecast area will be dominated by an upper-level trough of low-pressure and a surface stationary front north of the area. Disturbances moving along this boundary will likely impact the local area during the period. Ample instability and an abundance of deep moisture will result in the possibility of locally heavy downpours in some locations each day. Daytime highs will run near to slightly below normal through the weekend…
