8/10 – Rob’s “HEAVY RAIN” Forecast

The low-pressure system which brought a deluge of rainfall to the west coast of Florida is just to the east of Mobile bay. It will slowly track to the west and take around 48 hours to move west into central Louisiana. The next couple of days will bring showers and thunderstorms to south Mississippi with 3-5 inches of accumulation…isolated pockets of high amounts. A FLASH FLOOD WATCH is in effect though Friday morning as the rain will begin to tapper-off heading into the weekend.
