8/7 – Payton’s Wednesday Afternoon Forecast
Hot this afternoon and a few t-storms have developed. The strongest ones could produce very heavy rain, a lot of lightning and the strongest t-storms could produce gusty winds. Tonight will be a repeat with warm temperatures and a few coastal t-storms possible. The rest of the week looks slightly drier and plenty hot although an isolated t-storm is possible each afternoon. Heat index values could get over 105 by the end of the week and even approach 108, which would be heat advisory criteria.
TROPICS: No tropical development is expected over the next five days.
