8/5 – Payton’s Monday Afternoon Forecast
This mornings t-storms and showers have remained mainly offshore. As we get daytime heating we’ll likely see a few t-storms develop overland. By this evening rain chances decrease although a few coastal t-storms are possible tonight into Tuesday morning. The same for Tuesday and Wednesday with a few t-storms likely during the afternoon. By Thursday and Friday upper level ridging builds in from the west and that means decreasing rain chances. It’ll be in the lower 90s each afternoon with lows in the mid 70s during the morning.
TROPICS: No tropical development is expected over the next five days.
