8/30 – Jeff Vorick’s “Red Flag Warning” Wednesday Evening Forecast
Dry conditions, low humidity, and breezy winds have provided for a Red Flag Warning being in effect until 8 PM. Do not burn, and continue that precaution given the burn bans in effect. Drought conditions remain and humidity is lower than normal.
Skies will clear out tonight and temperatures are going to be quite pleasant out the door to start your Thursday. A few clouds to partly cloudy skies can be expected. A stray shower near the beachfront won’t be ruled out but rain chances become more fruitful by Friday. The heat will be manageable tomorrow thanks to lower humidity.
A front will flare back northward into Friday. This will bring back deep moisture and help provide for thunderstorm chances Friday and Saturday. Much-needed rainfall will come from this and the unsettled pattern has the potential to carry into next week.
