7/16 – Payton’s Sunday Night Forecast

After a humid and stormy weekend, the summertime pattern will continue this week. The best rain chances will be Monday & Tuesday. There is a chance for shower and thunderstorms overnight, but the best chance for most people will be during the afternoon hours. During the morning hours showers and thunderstorms will be more likely along the coast. As we head into Wednesday and Thursday high pressure starts to build into the area, which will decrease rain chances dramatically on Thursday. Then typical isolated afternoon showers and thunderstorms are possible into the weekend. The temperatures will be hot in the low to mid 90s. Lows will be in the mid to upper 70s.
