7/25 – Jeff Vorick’s “Quiet” Tuesday Evening Forecast
Typical summer heat continues but humidity remained at bay again today. A few clouds early will clear out overnight and another mild night can be expected. The front to our south will begin to gradually move northward into tomorrow. Tomorrow will feature sunny skies early with some clouds in the afternoon.
Stray to possibly isolated showers are on the table but rain will not be heavy or last long. The pattern will gradually return to our usual summertime routine through the end of the week. Humidity will increase back to our usual levels. Isolated thunderstorm chances will be back in the equation Thursday onwards.
The tropics remain quiet for us but there are multiple areas to watch. The peak of the season is still over a month away. No threats to South Mississippi for at least the next week but tropical waves are beginning to make their way off Africa and somewhat hold together.
