7/2 – Payton’s Tuesday Afternoon Forecast
Another hot and humid one. Another afternoon of a few t-storms possible. This pattern will not change much over the next week.
Afternoon highs will tack on a degree or two each day up to the weekend climbing into the mid 90s. This along with the additional moisture will also cause heat index values to also tack on a degree or two each day up to the weekend. Values may be within the 105-110 range by the end of the week. These values moves quite easily as they depend on dew point and temperature variables each day.
These conditions make it feel suffocating at night but are exacerbated during the hottest parts of the day. Remember your heat safety over the next week. Fourth of July will be very hot and humid with a few t-storms possible during the afternoon.
TROPICS: No tropical development is expected over the next five days.
