7/14 – Jeff Vorick’s “Thunderstorm Chances” Friday Evening Forecast
A Heat Advisory is in effect until 8 PM for heat indices between 105 and 110 degrees. This evening, thunderstorm chances will be elevated for a window of time. It will clear out overnight and the warmth and humidity will linger.
Very hot and humid conditions are back and again, a Heat Advisory will be in effect from 10 AM until 8 PM. Isolated thunderstorm chances will be present in the afternoon and evening for your Saturday. Sunday will bring the potential for a thunderstorm complex to move in. Cloud coverage will be more dominant and temperatures won’t be as hot.
A strong ridge of high pressure will build in next week. Scattered rain chances Monday will fade into the rear-view as an extremely hot airmass takes over by midweek. Dangerous levels of heat will be around from Tuesday-on.
