6/8 – Payton’s “Clear & Dry” Thursday Forecast
After 34 days with either clouds and/or rain in the area, high-pressure to the north will bring beautiful changes to the pattern. Sunny skies with slight breezy conditions along the coast can be expected today. The winds will taper-off this evening with sunshine to continue through the weekend. Temps will climb into the upper 80s but will be very tolerable as a drier air mass will dominate.
By Saturday, the return flow will begin, elevating the humidity and bringing a few clouds Saturday afternoon. A warm front will develop along the E-Central GOM and move north into the area Sunday through early next week, increasing the clouds and providing for low rain potential to close out the weekend.
