6/27 – Rob’s “Wet Monday” Forecast

A few overnight t-storms will continue to push southward over the waters through the morning hours, with isolated activity this afternoon. One more day of warmer temps today before the high pressure starts to give way to a frontal boundary that will push southward over the southern United States by Tuesday. This will greatly increase our rain chances across the area for Tuesday. With plenty of instability in the atmosphere, expect heavy rain and some localized street flooding. In the long range, drier air will begin to move in Thursday through the weekend, decreasing rain potential.
