6/9 – Payton’s Sunday Night Forecast

It was a nice and hot weekend! Your Monday will be similar with the chance for a few showers and t-storms during the afternoon and evening. This is all thanks to a cold front headed into the area. It will move through South Mississippi Monday morning. Monday will still be hot, but humidity will be somewhat lower. It isn’t until Tuesday before you really notice the change in weather. The cold front will bring much drier air and it will feel fabulous Tuesday with highs in the mid 80s with low humidity. The mornings will be in the lower 70s to upper 60 through Friday. Each afternoon Tuesday-Friday will be mostly sunny with highs in the upper 80s to lower 90s with low humidity. By Saturday the moisture returns and we could see a few popup showers and t-storms during the afternoon and evening.

TROPICS: No tropical development is expected over the next five days.
