6/8 – Rob Knight’s “Hot/Humid” Weekend Forecast
Weak pressure gradient over the region to maintain persistence for today and Saturday in regards to temperatures and low rain chances. There may be a slightly better chance for convection Saturday as gulf flow becomes better established heading into Sunday.
Expect the afternoon sea-breeze to initiate showers & t-storms this weekend into much of next week.
Bermuda ridge extension across the Gulf to present a typical pattern for mid-June. I’m using persistence on temperature and daily rain chances on gulf breeze boundaries through mid-week next week.
