6/3 – The Chief’s “Weekend Recap & Workweek Look Ahead” Monday Morning Forecast

As a stalled boundaries form last week move northward and leave the gulf coast, rain chances will drop off through the weekend. A typical sea-breeze front around noonish could trigger a few showers/t-storms this afternoon. This pattern will continue through the week as high-pressure through the region will shape the forecast. With the outside possibility for a few afternoon showers and t-storms, the area will be under fairly dry/rain-free conditions. Temperatures will slowly climb due to sunshine and compressional heating. By the end of the workweek, temperatures will be in the low-mid 90s with heat indices in the mid-90s to around 103 degrees.
