6/3 – Payton’s Sunday Night Forecast

It felt more like August out there today rather than June. Heat index values climbed all the way to 110 degrees in many locations. A cold front is moving through the area and will bring drier air, but not much in the way of cooler air. Temperatures for Monday will be in the low 90s, but heat index values won’t be a major issue. Tuesday into Wednesday day look to be the best day for showers and thunderstorms, and then the heat and humidity return for the end of the week and into the weekend. Pop up showers and thunderstorms will be possible each afternoon.
