6/29 – Payton’s Friday Afternoon Forecast
You can probably guess the forecast…hot and humid, but one difference is you might notice more activity during the afternoon hours. The rain chances will continue into the weekend. The best chance for showers and thunderstorms will be during the afternoon hours. T-storms that develop will likely drop heavy rainfall, have a lot of lightning and a few could produce gusty winds. Remember if you’re outside and you hear thunder, head indoors for safety. The rain chances look to elevate even more going into Sunday night through Tuesday. For July 4th on Wednesday, rain chances look like they’ll go back down to around 30 percent. The humidity and heat will stick around for the next seven days.
TROPICS: No tropical development is expected over the next five days.
