6/25 – Payton’s Monday Afternoon Forecast

Hope you are ready for a hot and humid afternoon. Temperatures will climb into the lower to mid 90s, but heat indices will be 100-106 for most locations. There will also be one or two t-storms that develop, but we’re not expecting any widespread activity. Anything that does form could produce very heavy rain, a lot of lightning, and gusty winds. This trend continues going throughout the workweek, with a few more storms possible later this week and into the weekend. Overall, just a summertime forecast.

TROPICS: No tropical development is expected over the next five days.
