6/21 – Jeff’s “More Typical Weather Pattern” Wednesday Night Forecast

A more typical summertime pattern is on the way for South Mississippi. For tonight, expect rain chances to quickly dwindle for the majority of the area. It will be mild and overall comfortable out the door to start your Thursday. It will continue to be hot as summer rolls on. But, the heat will be tolerable for now.

Thunderstorm chances will be around for the next couple of days. The unsettled pattern will lift out for the weekend. However, the pattern will revert back to a summertime pattern with more humidity. Also, daily thunderstorm chances from either fast-moving complexes or routine pop-up activity will be around.

In the tropics, waves continue to push off of Africa. Tropical Storm Bret is around 24 hours out from an impact on the Windward Islands. Then, the disturbances behind it could also develop into a named storm.
