6/1 – Jeff’s “Hot & Humid Pattern” Thursday Night Forecast
Skies will clear overnight and mild temperatures will be present out the door for your Friday. Tomorrow will bring hot temperatures and a 20% chance of showers/thunderstorms. Expect a mix of clouds and sunshine. Tropical Depression 2 is located to our southeast. It could strengthen into our first named storm in the coming hours. It will continue to the south and fizzle out in the southern Gulf of Mexico.
Rain chances will be more elevated for Saturday with scattered thunderstorms expected to pop up in the afternoon. Sunday will provide for brief dry time but the unsettled pattern will build in for the new week. Multiple features will help provide for elevated rain chances while the hot and humid pattern remains.
