5/15 – Rob’s Monday/Workweek Forecast

After BEAUTIFUL conditions through the mother’s Day weekend…high-pressure will continue to dominate the region through much of the workweek. Now to our NE, high-pressure will be slow in moving off the E’tern seaboard. This will bring a blocking pattern to the region once again.

As a cold front approaches by mid-week, the area of high-pressure will begin to break down and shift east. This will allow effect from a cold front which will move into the W’tern region and stall. This will bring elevated rain potential Thursday through Sunday.

The cold front will begin to move east Sunday…bringing showers/t-storms Sunday night into Monday as the boundary moves through the region and off the east coast.
