5/15 – Rob’s Monday “Midday News” Afternoon Forecast
After a beautiful weekend, this morning began with areas of PATCHY FOG…which will reemerge again tomorrow/Wednesday mornings. High-pressure to our NE will be slow in moving off the E’tern seaboard. This will bring a blocking pattern to the region once again.
As a cold front approaches by mid-week, the area of high-pressure will begin to break down and shift east. This will allow effect from a cold front which will move into the W’tern region and stall. This will bring elevated rain potential Thursday through Sunday.
The cold front will begin to move east Sunday…bringing showers/t-storms Sunday night into Monday as the boundary moves through the region and off the east coast.
