5/11 – Rob’s Friday-Eve “Changes Ahead” Forecast

This morning an area of low-pressure over New Mexico with a trailing cold front will be slow to move east through Saturday. As the cold front begins to move into the W’tern region early tomorrow, showers/t-storms will move in and develop through the day. Although t-storms will be widespread through the region, strong or severe thunderstorms are not expected but there will remain the possibility of an isolated strong/severe thunderstorm. With quite a bit of activity through Friday afternoon…The actual cold front will take its time moving through Friday night into Saturday morning.

After the cold front clears the area, high pressure with cooler/drier air mass will once again settle across the area through the Mother’s Day weekend.
