The blocking pattern continues to dominate the region, but with a weakness on the western side of the high-pressure…a stray shower this morning could develop along with the slight possibility for a stray t-storm this afternoon. Higher humidity continues to flow from the Gulf of mexico leading to early warnings for HEAT INDICES affecting the area/region. Temps will make it into the mid/upper 80s along with the HEAT INDEX in the mid-90s.

heat indices will make climb between 103-113 degrees this weekend so remember safety and hydration.

With the moisture flow clouds will once again affect the area but with strong subsidence…they will spread inland instead of vertical growth. Sunshine will dominate Thursday into the Memorial Day weekend.
