5/11 – Jeff’s “Thunderstorms” Thursday Night Forecast

Showers and thunderstorms will come to an end over the next couple of hours as the cluster will eventually weaken. Expect clearer skies and only isolated chances of showers and thunderstorms for your Friday. More sunshine will peek out and temperatures will warm up quite well. Breezy conditions at times can be anticipated for the afternoon.

Into this weekend, expect more in the way of sunshine and much quieter conditions as high pressure works in. Warm temperatures will stay in the picture at least until next week. There is the possibility of a cold front making it to South Mississippi next week but details have yet to be ironed out. Rain chances will elevate by mid-week.
